Governors Island is open to the public Friday thru Sunday and all Holiday Mondays from May 27 thru Sept 25. Just to your right upon exiting the ferry, stop in at the Backstage Cafe, a cool, airy oasis with indoor and outdoor dining featuring fresh made sandwiches and salads. Right around the corner, you'll find the Beach Grill serving up our award-winning Motz Burgers, hotdogs, and sausages prepared fresh and served with style. For you veggie lovers, you'll flip for the 100% veggie burger (no soy fillers) made fresh daily.The Grill also offers great craft beers on tap: Blue Point Toasted Lager, Magic Hat #9, Ommegang Witte Ale, and Six Point Crisp Lager.
